The public aspect of the commercial or institutional landscape presents unique challenges.  Close attention is needed to properly address the function of the site while considering public safety and security concerns.

 

To best facilitate the public nature of these spaces, Earth Source conducts extensive investigation and consideration of the existing site features, building architecture and most importantly the end user.  A staged design process, closely involving the Owner and user groups, if possible, serves to successfully convey and interpret creative thought with an eye on project costs throughout the process.  In addition, preliminary and secondary zoning approvals, grading, drainage, pavements and landscape design provide a complete and effective project package.

 

This work may include shopping centers, retail stores, office complexes, child care providers, recreation centers, libraries, hospitals, retirement communities, airports, medical offices, schools and churches.
